We confirm we launched our Eastern Cape operations 4 ½ years ago with an office in East London which services the entire Eastern Cape, and is run by Mr M Mthalane. This office services Meeg Bank on behalf of ABSA and assists in all avenues of the collection process, from the pre-legal to the management of the purchased-in properties.

The office was established to transform the collection process and techniques in the former Transkei area.  This was necessary as there was no “on the ground” support for the recovery process and due to poor performance on the Sheriff’s behalf, service of court documents was extremely slow which in turn slowed down the collection process.  It was furthermore found that contact details for the debtors were outdated and as such files were merely handed to legal for further action without an attempt to rehabilitate the account.

Seone Maskell has been employed at Peter Maskell Auctions CC for the past 8 years and she is involved with handling all communications between our Company and client.

Seone also handles all communications between our office and our corporate clients, as well as being Employment Liaison Officer between Senior Management and the staff whom work in this field

Seone will liaise between the Sellers and all interested parties.  Further more, Seone will run the direct marketing team which will undertake the large scale electronic “fax and email ” shoots to our database of buyers and mailing lists.
